Hocu - 3D low poly character by kouotsu Hocu - 3D low poly character by kouotsu
I've been working with a client the past few months to help create his game project, and here's the first character model I've created for it, although it's not the main character! She runs a shop in the game.

I really enjoyed creating it and I'm pumped to make more characters and other assets!

omg this is so cute!~ Did you do the hair and clothes seperately? or were they extrude on the mesh itself?

is that mapping for the face? and if doing animation, can we make face expression by swapping map skin?

Yes it's just textures, sure you can swap them for animating.

I really love this. How do you get the colors to show up so flat and smooth? Did you put the character in an engine first to get the pictures of the final textured character here?

Nope it's default 3D rendering with flat lighting
